So, I’ve been working from home today. I’ve got a couple of tradies coming to fix or install a few stuff around the house. They can’t give me fixed time of when they can come in and how long it would take them to do it. At least we’ve done most of the unpacking so I have all my computer gears, books, files and paperworks out. Though, now my study is starting to look very girlie or somewhat nursery looking. One side of the room: (This photo is taken early this morning – I actually had to work on the big computer, not on the netbook.) LOOK! I CAN HAZ Cactus. I finally have cactus. I’ve been wanting to have cactus for a while but my bunny always says no. Piglet: I want cactus. Bunny: No. Piglet: I want cactus. Bunny: Where are you gonna put it? Piglet: In the bathroom. Bunny: What? Why do you want cactus in the bathroom. Piglet: Because I want plants in the bathroom. But if it’s any other plant, it would just die. I am not good with plants. Bunny: Cactus can die too if you don’t take care of it. Piglet: At least they don’t die easily. Bunny: No. We’ll get plastic plant instead. Piglet: T_T A few days after that conversation. I came home and there is cactus plants in the pot waiting for me on the kitchen bench. My bunny said he bought it because the colour of the pot matches our paint colour. I think he just loves me very much and like to spoil me (which I ofcourse, encourage on daily basis). The cactus won’t be in the bathroom. It is now sitting on the lower shelf above my desk surrounded by my little stuffed animals. The other side of the room: My bigger stuffed animals are my reading friends. They live in my study and occupy half of my reading couch/sofa-bed for when we have guests. (Jay, you can now have sleeping friends when you stay over ) Anyway, I can’t be bothered turning on the heater because it’s quite sunny outside and I prefer to have the blinds open. I can actually see an elephant (our plant stand) bum from my study. Very inspirational.. or what? So, my hand has been cold while doing computer work and I finally have the chance to wear THIS: USB HAND WARMER!! I got it from Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan – though you can also get it from ebay if you want one. I can’t use my thumb though. I probably have to cut a hole for my thumb later. Though, I am scared I might cut a cable/wire or something in process. I should have bought this instead: But I couldn’t find them in Akihabara. I might ebay them later. I’ll buy a bunny one for my bunny and a pig one for myself. Though, more than likely, they’re both will be mine, I don’t think my bunny will wear them. These things actually come in a set. In Akihabara, I saw...

It’s cold in the Nation Capital today. Yesterday the news said it will top 13 degree Celsius today. This morning the radio told me it will be 10 degree max. It’s windy too. It’s only April. Autumn is not over yet. Winter lasts for about 6-7 months in Canberra. I am worried that if I start wearing my winter gear now, how many layer of clothings should I wear in Winter to be comfortably warm?
