In the past couple of weeks I’ve been so busy…
We’re moving (moved now) to a new place. So there are a lot of packing up, cleaning up x 2 houses, lifting stuff up, moving stuff, unpacking, painting, etc. We haven’t finished unpacking because the painting work is not finished yet.
The only thing that's working at home is my Netbook connected to my mobile broadband stick
The above room is the only room that’s been painted properly… plus the lounge.

On top of that I am juggling a couple of projects with deadlines around 30 June. I literally had to put all my side projects including this blog on hold. Add the jetlag from a few interstate trips including day trip to Sydney for one of the projects… yay.. peachy…
We haven’t even managed to download the latest doctor who last weekend. That’s like.. the highlight of my weekends :’(.
Nope, haven’t watch Prince of Persia or Sex and the city 2, either.
Oh, I got sick too because according to my GP, I had a REACTION TO THE FLU SHOTS I had as a precaution to the flu. YAY.. NOT!
I got med certs for a couple of day but because of deadlines I haven’t been able to rest and really take the days off. My OHS person would cringe if she knew I came to work on med cert. I probably would have infected some colleagues too.
I can’t call my mum and whinge because.. the connection to Indonesia is suddenly f*cked up. That’s you OPTUS! For the whole May, I haven’t been able to carry a decent conversation with my mum without either one of us sounding like a robot on the phone. The worst part is, it is only me. My brothers managed to ring my mum ok on Optus connection. I thought it’s my mobile (that I dropped inside Tokyo Tower toilet – another story, but I flushed before the phone dropped, so it’s not that disgusting – and I cleaned the phone)… but when I use another phone and ring from another location… it still sh*tty.
So now.. I am whingeing on my blog! You just have to read it because you’re here. Sorry 
Anyway, not all things are bad.
Bunny’s mum came down to help us clean the houses and unpacked stuff. I HAVE THE BEST MOTHER IN LAW IN THE WORLD!! Whose mother in law would drive down overnight to help cleaning, painting, cooking, pruning the garden, staying awake until early hours in the morning plunging the toilet when the drain is blocked??!? I love you, Jay You can come down anytime and stay for as long as you like.
I also managed to transfer my gym membership to someone else because I want to join a gym closer to the new place. So that’s saving me $88/month.
The funny thing is, she said she was googling the gym name when she stumbled across my advertisement. Sometimes if you’re a blogger or do quite a bit of SEO or active on the Intranet, your stuff may come out at higher ranking in google. But now, I must take down the advert.
…and 30th June is only a month away!!! After that the workload should drop and I can concentrate on the house… or have a holiday… or party… lalalala…
