Oh well, i googled the email address and found this site and, like many others, found it very funny that i got the exact same emails. they seem to have come on a bit though, they include complex tables and less fractured disclaimers these days!

He never said anything about a paypal account though, he just asked for my mailing information so he can mail me a cheque. I found this very suspicious because he never answered my questions about how he was going to ship it. I have attached my e-mails with him so everyone will know what he is up to.

I am glad to hear that you are serious about purchasing the car but I would like to wait till I am able to send you all the accurate information over the Christmas holidays to make sure that this car is truly what you want and are willing to pay to have shipped overseas. I hope you understand but I do not want you to pay all the costs for this car and not be satisfied. I have made some mistakes about a couple of things; we do not have the receipts for all the work that has been done on it and it has had the roof replaced. This had 91,242 original miles, everything is original on and in this car. This was the 1985 “Show Stopper” show car for the 1985 Vancouver, British Columbia car show. It was purchase on the trailer heading for the show so it is the original owners who are selling this beautiful car. We are hoping to find someone to continue to love it and appreciate what a great car this is. There have been $12,000 put into restoring it and receipts are available. If you wanted to put modified collector plates on it you can in 2010. It has also been re-certified with ICBC.

It has the following original parts: 305 V8 engine, fuel injectors, rims, stereo decks, interior, same paint colour scheme with red pin striping.

Anyway John Mionskowski is now trying to buy a car worth $8 and spend $4G to ship it. But he has upped his game. Asked for more information and is spending some effort on getting some details correct. Thankfully stupid but even stupid gets lucky now and then so everyone should be on their guard.
